Pastor Keith Thompson graduated from North Central University and has been involved in full time ministry since 1987. In June of 1991, Pastor Keith and his wife Darla came to Living Hope Assembly of God to serve as Youth Pastor. In September 1993, Pastor Keith accepted the Senior Pastorate position. commandment was the greatest, he replied, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22:37-40 NIV. Our "Passion for God" is increased primarily through two avenues - Worship and the Word of God. The wonderful presence of God is evident and felt during each worship service as well as an emphasis on the preaching of God's Word. A natural result of an increased "Passion for God" will be a "Compassion for People". It is Pastor Keith's vision that the church be known in the community for reaching out and demonstrating God's love in tangible ways. It is our "Compassion for People" that also contributes to a high priority on missions around the world through prayer, financial support, and hands on experience. |
